Raue, Harris James passed away peacefully on January 31, 2026 at the age of 93. Predeceased by his wife Denise (nee O'Sullivan) and his brother Henke. He will be missed by his 5 children Dan (Isabelle), Jamie (Kate), Sandra, Lynda (Jon) and David (Gail) and his siblings Mimi (Peter), Harry (Barb), Greta, John (Elma) and Alie (Hendrik), grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Harris had an indomitable spirit throughout his life, and his stories of living through WWII in Holland, moving to Suriname and then to Canada were always filled with his sense of adventure. He was a Master Mechanic who worked for Lindley Motors before moving to Stelco where he worked for 25 years.

Memorial Visitation will be held on Thursday, February 5, 2026 at Marlatt Funeral, Swackhamer Chapel, 195 King Street West, Dundas, from 1:00pm-2:00pm with a funeral service held following in the chapel at 2:00pm.
Memorial donations made to Parkinson Canada would be appreciated by the family.
