Joey Andrew Flaherty

He leaves behind his loving parents Jim and Janice, brother and best friend Jamie, numerous aunts and uncles on both sides ( Flaherty and Bundy) and cousins who were near and dear to his heart.

He will be sadly missed by‎ his Grandmothers Anna Flaherty and Greta Bundy.

Joey was previously employed as a student with the City of Hamilton then as a permanent employee with the Town of Oakville in the Public Works Department ‎where he made many wonderful friends.

Also remembered by his childhood friends, too many to mention, with whom he enjoyed playing baseball, fishing, golf and poker.

Joey was a ray of light, charismatic, generous and outgoing, someone who touched everyone's heart with his personality and smile that filled the room. He will be greatly missed.

Friends will be received at MARLATT FUNERAL HOME "SWACKHAMER CHAPEL", 195 King Street, West, Dundas (905) 627-7452 on Friday, August 29th from 2p.m. until 4p.m. & 6p.m. until 9p.m. funeral service for Joey will be held at Calvary Christian Reformed Church 265 Middle Town Road, Flamborough on Saturday, August 30th, 2014 at 11 o'clock. Interment to follow at White Chapel Memorial Gardens.
