Joyce Ethel Butler

1934 – 2015

With great sorrow, we announce that on October 4, 2015 Joyce passed away in her home in Dundas, Ontario at the age of 81. Raised in Mt. Brydges, Ontario, Joyce was the dear daughter of the late Les Laughton and Marie (Gough). Loving wife to Ross Butler (1931-1998) for 44 years. May they be united again. Beloved mother of Ross (K.R.) and Brad. She will be missed by both sons and their wives Belinda and Irene. A wonderful sister to Leigh (Phyllis), and to her late brothers Glenn (Margaret) and Layne “Shady” (Heather) Laughton of Mt. Brydges. Grandma Joyce will be forever cherished by her three grandchildren, Rachel, Charlotte (Lauren) and Natalie. Joyce was a wonderful homemaker and very supportive of her husband’s business endeavours. They were both founding members of the Dundas Granite Curling Club. She also had her own career in real estate and in later life she enjoyed 'making princesses' at a bridal boutique. Joyce's grace, kind-heartedness, and thoughtful nature will be missed by all her close friends and her family.
