MY HUSBAND AND I SEND OUR MOST SINCERE SYMPATHIES TO KATHLEEN'S FAMILY. WE REMEMBER HER VERY FONDLY FROM THE YEARS WE WERE CANADIAN MARTYRS PARISHIONERS.
SHE WAS ALWAYS SO KIND AND FRIENDLY; WE NEVER SAW HER IN A CROSS MOOD.
WE PARTICULARLY RECALL HER DEVOTION TO MARY AND THE ROSARY. SHE WORKED HARD AT MAKING SURE VOLUNTEERS WOULD LEAD IT BEFORE THE VARIOUS MASSES, NOT ALWAYS AN EASY TASK.
WE WILL NEVER FORGET HER SMILE!

On behalf of the Canadian Martyrs Folk Choir, I want to send condolences to Kathleen’s family. Kathleen & her husband were beloved members of the Canadian Martyrs parish over many years. They both worked tirelessly at parish events, but more importantly, they were cheerful and kind to everyone. Kathleen used to crochet the most beautiful snowflakes at Christmastime, and would give one to each of us in the choir. I think of her every Christmas, and I think of her between snowflakes as well. She was a wonderful woman.

My mother and I met Kathleen when my father, Eugene, became a resident of St. Joseph's Villa 6 years ago. They were neighbours on the floor. Kathleen, on finding out that my father was Hungarian, went out of her way to be friendly to him, occasionally speaking some Hungarian with him. She was a warm, kind lady, in the truest sense of the word. I heard of Kathleen's passing at Mass at Canadian Martyrs this morning. My mother, Maria, and I offer condolences and prayers to the entire family.

Dear Gary, David, Maureen, Gerard, Kim, and families,
Thank you for sharing the beautiful tribute video to celebrate the life of your mom and grandma. Even though we lived far apart, we always looked forward to Auntie Kathleen and her family's visits to Saskatchewan. Auntie Kathleen's warm smile, kindness, and good sense of humour will not be forgotten.
