God has granted peace to Kaye by calling her home on Thursday, February 4th at St. Peter's Hospital, Hamilton. Predeceased by her beloved husband the Rev. Earl Haase (1994). Loving mother of Judy (Rick) Michel, Sandra (Fred) Michel, Marg (Art) Heidebrecht. Cherished Grandma and Great-Grandma to Ian, Marianne, Braeden, Marta, Andrew, Tanya, Steven, Laura, Heather, Doug, Silvia, Matthew, Angelina, Andre, James, Kymberly, Simon, Jack, Joanne, Rick, David, Laura, Christine, Mike, Hannah, David, and Victoria. Predeceased by her sister Lorna Payne (1995). Fondly remembered by brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, and many cousins, nieces and nephews. She will be deeply missed by her devoted friend, Barbara Kassner.
In addition to her service to St. John's Lutheran Church, Arnprior and Grace Lutheran Church, Hamilton she made a significant contribution to her community as a volunteer, friend and advocate. Cheering for the Blue Jays and connecting through letters and cards was an additional hallmark.
Heartfelt thanks for the skilled and compassionate care of Dr. Bev and the staff of 3 East of St. Peter's Hospital, and to the staff at The Georgian Retirement Residence, Kaye's home for 10 years.
