Ken died peacefully on May 28th in Burlington, ON. Predeceased by his first wife, Beatrice. He leaves his dear wife Frances (nee Ruffing), who was always at his side, with happy and loving memories of 22 years together. He leaves son Donald (Holly) in Georgetown, ON, his grandson Colin in Hamilton, and granddaughter Andrea Chard (Jason) and their children Riley, Owen and Lindsey, all of Brampton. His nieces Joanne, Sandra, Cheryl and Cousin Lois Farrell are all of Hamilton. He treasured the long-time friendship with David and Jean Amos of Hamilton. As well he enjoyed happy times with Bob and Rosemary Cutler of Burlington. Their daughters Laurie Van Heck (Tom), Holly Canham (Michael), Shelley Forsyth (Tim) all of Burlington, and Catherine Baker of BC, always welcomed Uncle Ken to family gatherings and as the years rolled by helping him through some of his bleak and sick days with love and comfort. Ken enjoyed many gatherings of family and friends at the Harold cottage in Minden. During his service in the RCAF he worked on radar, the weapon systems and navigation equipment for the fighter planes. He later worked as senior engineer in electronic systems divisions of Westinghouse Canada. After retirement he enjoyed many days of golfing with his colleagues and buddies Dave Amos, Bob Wiffin and John Smith.
