Kenneth George Hunter

Passed away peacefully at Juravinski Hospital on January 8, 2013 in his 91st year. Beloved husband of Phyllis Marie (nee Rankin). He will be deeply missed by his children Tim (Helen), Carol (Chris), Nancy, and Charlie. He will also be missed by his grandchildren Matt (Ann), T.J. (Janice), Katie (Derek), Maggie (Steve), and James (Sindy), and his great grandchildren Sarah, William, Abbey, Davin, Colton, Kayla, Trevor, and Brianna. Survived by his sister Norma Hanes (Bill), and sister in law Iris Hunter. Predeceased by his daughter Pam, his brothers Howard, Cal, Lyle, Hugh, Charles, and his sister Mary. Ken was a lifetime member of the Rockton United Church, was a former Trustee of the Wentworth County School Board, and a Charter Member and Past President of the Rockton Lions Club. Cremation has taken place. Friends may call at the MARLATT FUNERAL HOME “SWACKHAMER CHAPEL”, 195 King Street West, Dundas on Friday, January 11th from 6-8pm, and on Saturday, January 12th from 2-3pm. A Memorial Service will be held in the Funeral Home Chapel on Saturday, January 12th at 3pm.
