Kenneth Howell Mills

Peacefully and without pain at the Hamilton General Hospital on Sunday, January 21, 2018, in his 85th year. Beloved husband and forever soulmate of Gertrude Ellen (nee Church) for 67 years. Proud father of Katherine Hunter (Edward), Kenneth Jr., Colleen Bearman (George), John (Patricia), Mark and Joel Adam (Diane). Loving Grandpa of Michael, Scott, Tamara, Sarah, Jessi, Brianna, Mallory, Erinn and Morgan. Big Grandpa of Jesse, Cole, Braeden, Ella, Jesse Ryder, Savanah, Julian, Benjamin, Talyn and Thorin. Baby brother of Richard Mills. Predeceased by his parents Bill and Marjorie Mills, son Mark (1984) and granddaughter Jessi Lea (2016). Ken dedicated 35 years of his life to Dofasco to support his large family. He survived three open heart surgeries with Trudy's excellent nursing care. Ken considered himself the (Mayor) of Westover. Friends may call at the Marlatt Funeral Home and Cremation Center 195 King St. W, Dundas on Saturday January 27th from 12 noon to 2 p.m. A memorial service will be held in the chapel of the funeral home at 2 p.m. officiated by Mike Hamstra. Cremation has taken place. Memorial donations may be made to the Hamilton General Hospital or to the Westover Womens Institue.
