Peacefully on December 16, 2015 in her 85th year in Hamilton, Ontario. Loving wife of Augustine Gordon for 68 years. Cherished mother of Brenda, Gus (Lydia), Paul (Joan) and Joe (Dana). Will be missed dearly by grandchildren Lindsay (Jonas), Rory (deceased) Lukus (Mandy), Jenise , Jesse, Chris (Laura), Ken (Nicki) . Great-grandmother to Nehemiah, Judah and Kailah, Reese, Blayne, Bentley & Lincoln. Sister of John Leaver (Pat) Aunt to Sherri (Bob) and great aunt to Jessica.Lila will be remembered for her dry sense of humor, her undying love and support for her children and family, and for the tenacious effort she gave throughout the years when her debilitating disease tried to overcome her. As a family, we would like to take this opportunity to thank Regina Gardens Nursing Home for the tremendous quality of life they were influential in helping our parents to maintain, especially in our mother's final days. Cremation has taken place. Family and friends are welcomed to The Kingdom Hall Of Jehovah's Witnesses, 648 Limeridge Rd. E. in Hamilton, for a memorial service on Sunday December 20th at 7:00 pm.
