

She is reunited with her son Paul "Monk" Matthews, partner Dale Smith, parents George and Nora Woods, sisters Joan Fetter and Sharon Dietz.
She will lovingly remembered by her daughter Wendy Matthews, daughter in-law Cathy Monahan, granddaughters Ashley (Dale) Monahan, Misty (Bryan) Matthews-Roper, and grandson Paul David Monahan. Proud great-grandma of Drake Zess, Hendricks Monahan, Avery Czerneda, and Dawson Monahan. She will also be missed by her sisters Nora Wasylenko, Elaine (Tom) Lee, brothers Paul Woods, Tim (Karen) Woods, Jim (Jeannine) Woods, and many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends, especially Peter, Barb, Renta, Kirk, Colleen, Barry, Sam, Pat and Pills.

In accordance with her wishes, a private burial has taken place at Grove Cemetery, Dundas.
A celebration of MaryLou's life will take place at the Dundas Legion, 280 King Street West, Dundas on Saturday, August 19, 2023 from 1:00 - 4:00 pm where everyone is invited to come and share their memories of MaryLou.
As expressions of sympathy, donations to Margaret's Place Hospice would be appreciated by her family.
