Ruth, I just want to express my sincere condolences and sympathy to you and the family during this difficult time.  You have always been a wonderful wife and mother to Ralph and the children.  Thank you for your lovely note and the update of your family.  My memories of Ralph were his beautiful voice, his kindness and he was ways willing to give his support to the church members at both the Churches at Parry Sound, and the Donway Baptis and reaching out to the community.  I would have loved to attend the service but getting there was a problem but my prayers are with you and the children.  With God's grace and blessings you will be comforted and with the support from family and friends.

Shirley and I have good memories of our contacts with Ralph over the years. I especially remember the Growth Ministry Team that went to India in 1979. Ralph was on the Team and we had some sessions together. He was a gifted Pastor and servant of the Lord. You are in our prayers and thoughts in this time of loss. Condolences from a one time Wilton family babysitter and a one time faithful member of the Donway Baptist community.  I have fond memories of Ralph, Ruth, and family, and was especially touched to read about Ralph's life-long love of music.  I remember many times -- after the kids were in bed -- dipping into the LPs and sampling some of the Wilton's music.  I especially recall a wonferful album of Albert Scwheitzer playing the organ. Dear Aunt Ruth,

Bob and I send our deepest sympathy to you and the family at the passing of Uncle Ralph.  He was an amazing man who was able to give spiritual strength during difficult times, and at the same time enjoyed participating in humorous adventures such as stopping by a PEI farmer's field to dig a "spud" for his niece. We so appreciated the support he gave to our musical family. He leaves a legacy of a wonderful example of a life lived "in Christ".

To Ruth and family, 
Marie and I were deeply saddened to hear of Ralph's passing. As Ralph was about 10 years older than I am, I always thought of him as the leader of our group of Wilton first cousins. We will miss him as well. He was a leader in many ways and always with a gracious and caring spirit. Our love and prayers are with you at this difficult time.

Thinking of the whole Wilton family at this difficult time and praying that you will find comfort in the many memories that you have of such a wonderful husband, father and grandfather.  I grew up attending Bromley Road Baptist Church and have great respect for the wonderful testimony Ralph gave for Jesus.  I attended baptismal classes with him and was baptized at age 12.  He holds a special place in my memory and my heart.  God bless you all as you face the days ahead.
