So sorry to learn of Reiner's sudden passing. Heard about it from John and Hannah Simoes last night at an event that we were both at. Reiner was part of the CBS group that I attended for several years at Lorne Park Baptist Church. I enjoyed meeting him along with Carl and Jonathan when they were part of the group as well. Reiner was such a positive person and usually greeted me with a friendly smile. My condolences to the family, especially to his wife, Carl, and Jonathan.

Dear Angela and family, please receive my sincere condolences from all of my family who are praying for your comfort and strength. We all remember Reiner as a man of integrity living his life as a testimony to God’s love. May you experience amazing love and support out of your own family and from friends surrounding you. May the difficult days ahead without Reiner be compensated by God’s never ending love and assurance that Reiner is in the Lord’s arms. The timing of his departure was unexpected, however, Reiner was well prepared for this journey and did not get caught off guard.
Allison said it best: “He lived an amazing 67 years.”
No worldly father can get a better stamp of approval from his children.
Because I am currently sick I cannot be with you in church today. But I will visit Grove Cemetery in the days to come.

With lots of love, Franz Schmidt and family

Hi Angela and Plessl Family

We were so saddened to hear of Reiner's passing. I so enjoyed working with Reiner, he had such a positive attitude and always a smile when we would meet, such a gentleman. He had such a knack for details and was so helpful.

His faith and dedication were inspiring to me.

My thoughts and prayers are with you at this time of grief.

Catherine and Chris, I am so sorry for your loss. I know your dad was a generous, fun-loving person, and I saw that in you both when you were at King's. God be with you in your time of grief; may He grant you peace.

Angela, Carl, Allison and the Plessl Family,

The news of Reiner's passing was the last thing I expected to hear! I remember Reiner as a happy, energetic and Christ - centered man who dearly loved his family.
Our early years at Mission Baptist Church were the foundation for our adult friendship as brothers in Christ as we shared in the study of God's Word at Community Bible Study, Mississauga.

May Jesus' presence in your current pain be what carries you through. My thoughts and my prayer for God's peace are with you.
