Dear Family and Friends of Ruth:
I was privileged to watch the very lovely and meaning service, celebrating our beloved Ruth.  She meant the world to me.  I am remembering many happy times we shared in Ottawa and later in Wolfville.  Ruth and I travelled to Round Hill to spend a weekend retreat with Muriel Halley.  What a special time!
There were many of us (Bromley Road East)  who met often to continue our friendship.  We had several evenings playing Scrabble.
Ralph and Ruth, along with other dear saints from Wolfville Baptist Church, met regularly with my son, Paul, when he was dealing with cancer, praying with him, anointing him, and being very special and supportive friends in a time when he/I needed that support.

Ruth was a wonderful Christian lady. She had a great interest in children, and served in Wolfville  Baptist Church as our Sunday School superintendent.  She was always very keen  on promoting world missions, and was an enthusiastic participant in our Acadia Divinity College mission trip to Bolivia.  She and Ralph were full of the joy of the Lord. We miss them very much, and send our deep sympathy and condolences to their family.

I  grieve with you on the passing of Ruth your mother. She was a kind, caring,  gentle person to me. But we grieve not without hope. 
She prepared a bed for me on weekends  in 1968 when I commuted from Kitchener to court Mary in Don Mills area. 
Your mother Ruth held me together during our wedding day and your Dad did the official. 
During  our years (1972-2012)  in Africa in ministry and then in retirement your Mom and Dad generously supported us with prayer and financial support each month. 
May you each find comfort in the faith in her Saviour which she passed on to you living generations.

 We were sorry to hear of Ruth's passing.  We always enjoyed their visits when they were passing through Fredericton.

Although saddened by the loss of Mrs Wilton, her life can be celebrated through so many wonderful memories. She resonated love, peace, faithfulness, compassion, and service. I will always remember her for her beautiful smile that never changed throughout the years. Both Mr and Mrs Wilton were such an influence to me growing up in Ottawa, participating in our wedding service, and the many opportunities for visits in Halifax/Wolfville.

With heartfelt sympathy, we share in your sadness. I have many fond memories growing up in Ottawa under the pastoral guidance of Ralph and Ruth; and visiting with them during their time in Wolfville, and then again in Toronto. Ruth’s smile and open heart will always be remembered.

Dear Mim and Family, 
My heartfelt condolences to you and yours. 

Mrs Wilton you will always hold a special page in my memory book.  I spent a lot of time at the Wilton house in South Rawdon.  Mim and I were best friends. Lots of sleepovers, great meals and so much love and kindness.  I remember being tucked in and given butterfly kisses. I remember sitting on the steps while Mim had her piano lesson.  What I remember most was a wonderful sweet lady that treated me like her own whenever I came to visit, which was practically every day.  Rest in peace Mrs Wilton, sending you butterfly kisses. 🦋 

This photo was taken the day you all participated in recording "Father Lead the Way".  I grieve with you in the loss of your mom, my thoughts and prayers are with you.  I have so many fond memories of times in Ottawa, Wolfville and Hamilton.  Ruth was a gifted artist -playing piano accompaniment for ballet dancers, singing, writing poetry and of course baking cookies.  Her love of her family, her pets and cottage life at Trout Lake will always be remembered.  There was nothing like afternoon tea sipped from china cups as we sat on the deck at the cottage!  She experienced struggles and losses in her life but her love of Jesus and  faith was always present.
