Passed away peacefully at St. Peter's Residence at Chedoke on Saturday, March 30, 2013. Predeceased by her husband Tommy (2004), and by her daughter Donna (1995). Born and raised in Hamilton, Shirley lived for 60 years in Burlington. A devoted wife and mother, she loved to entertain with her family around her. Shirley is survived by her son-in-law George Leshchuk (Nanaimo, B.C.), grandson Gregory Leshchuk (Nepal), nieces Barbara Howard and Joan Wallace (Hamilton), nephews Paul and Harry McCoy (Troy, ON). Cremation has taken place, a family interment to follow. Thanks to special friends Pat Buntain and Bea Kranjec for their devoted visits and to the Nurses and Support Workers for their professionalism and loving care for the past 17 months.
