Travis. As with everyone who has ever met you, my memories of you are only great ones. The last time I got to see you was our last friendsmas, and I’m very grateful for that night. Although we didn’t get to catch up fully, you were asking me what I had been up to, and we had a solid chat over a beer on the balcony. You brought so much light and laughs to our get-togethers, and you were always so easy to be around. You will be missed dearly. Until next time.

I had this ripped out page from a magazine I stuck to the side of my desk when I was in the fourth grade, it was a map of the surface of the moon. Travis sat across the aisle from me, and inevitably my poster would disappear at some point each week. I'd say in faux outrage "Hey, where did my poster go?!" and look over at him, and he would start giggling, and so I would start giggling too. The poster would be stuck back on my desk at the end of the day as if it had never moved an inch, of course. Thanks for making me smile day after day when we were kids, Travis. I'll think of you when I look at the moon.

I still cannot believe that we will not be seeing you anymore. Travis was always at our house. He worked first with my son Austin then with my other son Cody for DeAngelo Roofing. He was always willing to lend a helping hand even did dishes lol. His simply beautiful smile will be missed. He was also friends with my other son Nathan and they went on many travels together. Travis was one of those guys that you will never forget and will leave a lasting impression forever. Rest in peace Travis you were another one of my many "sons" love  you ❤ from the Baird Family.

I only met Travis once,  and that was when he came to my home in Norval, ON to visit my son, Robert. Robert and Travis met in Sunwapta Falls.  They became good friends and had lots of deep conversations. I remember him as being so incredibly friendly and polite and happy. It was a pleasure to have him here.  
Robert is devastated by this loss, as am I.  They spoke with each other as recently as May 27. A young life lost so tragically is horrible for everyone.
To the parents and family of Travis, I offer my sincerest condolences for your tragic loss.  My heart aches terribly for you. It is my hope that you find comfort in all of the tributes here and on Facebook, that show how much Travis meant to so many people.  He, with his engaging and lovely disposition, will be very much missed by so many people.  You are not alone. You are all in my thoughts and prayers. Rest in peace, dear Travis.

We loved having Travis visit us out here in farm county ❣️ Travis was a wonderful, polite young gentleman, who was always welcome into our home.   We will miss his overnight visits sleeping 😴 on the couch by the fire place ❣️ Travis will be missed by everyone ❣️

I met Travis ten years ago, in my first week of grade nine at Highland. My twin sister Katie met Ben and Travis and was so excited to introduce them to me. I will never forget Ben and Travises wild hair do’s they had then, it was awesome. 

Travis was close with myself, my twin sister Katie, and my older brother Kevin. Travis was also a part of my close friend group in high school as well, and all of us were able to stay close even after graduation. All of us collectively have had countless memories with this guy. From hanging out at Highland and driving around in the old Corolla, to countless hikes and outdoor adventures, to travelling to various places to party, to even seeing Travis experience his first metal show and mosh pit, I will always cherish these memories until my last day. I will never forget his outbursts, his laugh and his swanky walk he had when entering any room. 

I am very grateful and fortunate to have Travis in my life and he will always be there, regardless of the physical presence that was taken away from us all. I will live vicariously through him and hope to embody his positive personality traits he highlighted to absolutely everyone. 

Our dearest travis you will be greatly missed. As part of our family you always were. We will love and miss you forever. Our love ,prayers and condolences tom colleen jennifer sam ben megan and harley xo

Dearest Corbett and Culkeen Family Cottage Friends...

We are so very sad to hear of the passing of Travis. He was and always will be remembered as the beautiful soul of happiness and laughter. 

Memories of such fun times together with him at the cottage where we first met you all when moving to the cottage from Calgary. Jessi and Jamie’s first Ontario friends. Travis getting the best water shots with the supper soaker and all the innovative contraptions made to make the water fun even better.... the flying floating dock bike was our favourite to watch! The hide and seek till dark with flashlights! Such great memories of his infectious smile. 

Travis visited us a couple of years ago and Jim and I were so touched of how he really loved us all, and we him. Such a thoughtful and happy guy is what we will alway remember.

Travis will be held in all our hearts and minds forever. He will be dearly missed. We are thinking of you, Jim & Veronica, Jessi & Jamie McLellan.

Despite meeting Travis in highschool, it wasn't until after graduation when we really got to know each other. Every time I came back to Dundas, he was one of the first people I would call, because I knew he would always make time to spend an afternoon with a friend, even if it meant spending the day tearing apart cars at the scrapyard to find the right part to fix my car. From hikes, drives, and endless rounds of frisbee golf to parties and nights at the Collins, Travis's infectious smile and positive attitude always brightened the lives of those around him. It pains me to know that he's gone, but I know that he would want to be celebrated for the joy and laughter he brought to everyone he met.

You won't be forgotten Travis. Not by me, not by all your friends, and not by anyone else you crossed paths with, wherever your crazy adventures took you. 

Travis, you were a frequent and always welcome visitor to my home. I loved to see you come in the door. Your smile was contagious and always made me feel you were genuinely happy to be around me. We'd have brief chats about nothing that mattered and off you’d go to join the gang downstairs or out back. Like all parents, I worry about the “kids” in my charge, and I worried about you too.  But you were always smiling. How could I worry about a kid who brings light into every room he enters? You were so happy-go-lucky, so likeable and gentle, whatever worries I had about you would surely resolve themselves with time, just like they do with most high-spirited, adventurous young men.
I’m heartbroken that fate took you before then.
Thoughts of you will always bring a smile to my face.

Travis was all about family and friends.  We cannot tell begin to tell you how much your support has helped.   Thank you all for the phone calls, visits, emails and texts and especially the stories and pictures.     

I am so sorry for your loss. I never had the pleasure of meeting Travis but got know him through the pride and joy shared by his dad. Terry and I have worked together for several years and got to know Travis through stories. He was a kind and gentle soul that loved is trade and the outdoors. He was always happy to lend a helping hand to his neighbors and friends. My deepest condolences to the Corbett family. My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family at this difficult time. May God rest his beautiful soul in peace.

Travis was an undeniable light in a world that sometimes seems so dark.  He was a friend to all and made such an incredible impact on my life and the lives of those he loved. I will never forget his smile, his laugh and the pure happiness and excitement in his voice when we saw each other. The beauty of his energy is almost impossible to describe but it's clear how many people felt it. I am so so lucky to have had the opportunity to know him, be his friend and share many adventures and memories. My thoughts go out to his family and the many other lives he touched.. I’ll never forget those times we sat in your blue car in high school praying we would get up that hill on the way to Bennett and Sam’s, of course you were laughing the entire time. That laugh and smile will forever be missed.

I had the pleasure of working with Travis last summer.  He was so great, we thought very highly of him. He came every day with a smile, brought his positive attitude and funny demeanor.   His hard work, quality of work, and willingness to put in the extra time was super appreciated. I also had the pleasure of meeting his friends Ben and Sam, all three of them were incredible guys. My thoughts are with his friends and family. One day at a time. My condolences.

Travis was without a doubt the most upbeat and friendly guy I've ever met, you could talk to him for 10 minutes and feel like you've known him forever. His smile and laugh was contagious no matter how you were feeling, I didn't have the pleasure of knowing him as long as others, but the times I did spend with him were always full of laughter. I remember me and my friend getting in a small car accident with Kyle Kenehans uncle cars at the cottage while trying to go to town, we dented his car, anyone else would have been angry but he just laughed and smiled through the whole thing and found the humor in the situation, you'll be missed dearly, rock and roll dude 

I first met Travis at the Kenehan family cottage where he visited many times over the years. He always had such a wide smile and a happy, upbeat attitude. I just saw him last weekend at the cottage where he came up to join us for a work weekend. He was always willing to help with a smile. My thoughts are with his family at this devastating time. Travis will be sadly missed.

Travis was always able to bring a smile to your face no matter how you were feeling or how your day had gone prior to seeing him.

Feels like just yesterday we were all at Winchester Arms the night before you left for Alberta. Or the night we crushed those freestylers 21-0 in Rocket League, or the night we accidentally did a shoe swap at Dan's.

Also have a great memory the night we drove back from Ray's condo and the things we saw that night at the A&W that night we both knew we would never forget.

Whether it was deep convos outside late at night on Dan's deck or just throwing a few back hanging out, It pains me that I will never see you again and I just wish I could have seen you one more time recently.

I only really got to know Travis  recently, but it did not take long for him to find a place in my heart. He was so carefree and sweet and there was a vulnerability and honesty about him that was really refreshing.  He loved life and had a worry free mind, believing everything would work out well. My thoughts are with his parents and siblings and friends during such a difficult time.

I am truly at a loss for words to describe the pain so many are feeling with your absence in this moment of grief. I doubt there is a single soul out there that you crossed paths with that didn't feel your light and positivity. I have so many great memories with you buddy and I swear I will always cherish those moments (especially when you'd constantly destroy me at ping pong in our college days). You brought so many together with that truly amazing beautiful smile of yours. I am so glad I got to see you one last time at the Collins that night one short month ago. I wasn't even expecting to. But when I saw you, you had a huge smile on your face (of course) telling me how good it was too see me and I was so ecstatic to see you. You hugged me for a solid minute. This is all that's running through my head, just hearing you yell "CINO ITS SO GOOD TO SEE YOU!!!" and then just hugging the breath right out of me. You are one of the few that truly made me feel loved, as you were with every single person out there that had the absolute privilege to cross your path. The love I felt with you was so real, the way two brothers would. You will live on in the memory of so many shining bright as ever. Last night when I heard the news I looked up at the stars and just begged for a sign that you were out there somewhere. That same night I had a dream that you, Sam, Ben, and I were all chilling and laughing like nothing ever happened. It felt so real. As I was having this dream thunder struck and our whole room rumbled. And I truly believe that was you. I'm going too miss you buddy so so much.

It's hard to pick one moment to talk about when thinking about Travis because so many good memories come to mind. I met Travis when I moved to Rockton when we were in early grade school. I spent so much of my time growing up at the Corbett house in both Rockton and Dundas, Travis and I always finding ways to get into trouble with our skateboards. Travis was always so easy to hang out with, he always knew how to have a good time and make everyone around him laugh. I grieve for the loss of an amazing friend and the Corbett family. Travis was someone who lived life to its fullest and enjoyed every minute of it. I have had the pleasure of sharing so many good times with him over the years, as well as recent weekends. His infectious joy and laughter could bring a smile to anyone's face, no matter the circumstances. As long as I've known him, Travis has been a ray of sunshine; the world is a darker place now that he has moved on.

Basking in the sun on a Sunday with pizza and samosas will never be the same without you buddy. It's hard to swallow the fact that you won't be showing up unannounced to brighten the day for me and everyone else around.

Love you buddy. It's been a ride, and I wish it didn't have to end here. 

Travis was the happiest person I've ever known. Whenever he laughed or smiled you couldn't help but do the same. He was a true gem. I'm gonna miss going upstairs on the weekend and seeing him either on the couch or deck with that grin, telling a joke or sharing a story. Pizza and Samosa weekends will never be the same. My thoughts go out to his family and friends. I know he's looking down on us. Rest easy my friend, we miss and love you so dearly. 

Travis was always so incredibly kind and positive. He could always be counted on to share a smile and a laugh. Throughout the years I have known him, we have connected in different places in both Ontario and Alberta. My favourite memories of Travis include both hanging out around Dundas and enjoying the mountains in Jasper together. It is difficult to put into words, the warm heart that Travis so effortlessly put forth into his friendships. My thoughts are with his family, as well as our friends in Dundas. I will forever remember Travis as a gentle soul, that will always be missed by his loved ones. 

Travis started with us as a young teenager he was  so hardworking and respectful of our business as time passed and he moved on he continued to stop by for his "soup" and keep us updated on what he was doing  always made us smile such a kind and gentle person we are so deeply saddened for your loss  Carolyn,Vic and all the Cookhouse staff
