William James Daniel Bradley (Danny)

November 23, 1927October 31, 2020

It is with deep sadness, we announce the passing of our father, William James Daniel (Danny) Bradley. Born in Clanabogan, County Tyrone, Northern Ireland. Married to his love, our mother, Bridget (Betty) Christina (nee Fadden) for 56 years (predeceased, 2009). They are now reunited and laughing over a cup of tea and shortbread cookies. He will be forever missed by his sons William (Wendy), Mark (Sharon, 2018) and daughters Ellen (Paul Street) and Colette. Danny was granddad to Sarah (Adam), Olivia, Laura, Liam and Jennifer (Matt) and also great granddad to Ethan, Chloe, Finn and Tilly. He is survived by his brother Norman and sister Hazel and many nieces and nephews in the UK and Ireland. Dad had a great love of gardening and always fed the birds and animals. His greatest passion was antiques and he spent over 40 years at the Circle M Ranch and Flee Market. He loved socializing and searching for the next great deal. He loved us and we loved him – most of the time. Cremation has taken place. A Memorial Mass will be held at St. Augustine's Church, 58 Sydenham Street, Dundas, on Friday, November 13, 2020 at 10 a.m. Interment to follow at St. Augustine's Cemetery, Dundas. A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.

To: William, Mark, Ellen and Colette, & their families,

I spent 3 weeks in your lovely home with Betty & Danny and Colette. That was in 1993 when I was on holidays with Josette. They gave us a fantastic time and I have the photos to prove it. Alongside your late mother Betty they worked hard inside and outside the home to raise & educate their family who they were so proud of and loved so much. The catering and family get togethers were so tasty and welcoming. The house was full of Dannys unique eye catching collectibles, down to the the bed I slept in with the cat climbing over me. As a couple they gelled so well and enjoyed the trips out and had such a great sense of humour and they had a mutual sense of love and respect for each other. They also had a deep sense of kindness for others, I remember your neighbour Gus who they used to check in on and visit. My deepest sympathies to you all at this sad time in all of your lives and especially in these challenging times.

Warmest thoughts & fond memories

Our sincerest sympathies to William, Mark, Ellen, Colette and families on the sad passing of Danny. We have very fond memories of Danny on his visits to Ireland and especially to our home in Donegal. He was a kind, warm, witty, and extremely affable man, traits he demonstrated in abundance to me when I stayed with him in Dundas during Betty’s illness. We will remember this lovely man with great fondness always. Rest in peace Danny.

Sincere sympathy to all the Bradley family on the recent death of Danny. Great memories going back many years of a very kind, gorgeous man. I was fortunate to work with Danny at the ranch on Sunday 4th September 1994, his great way with customers. He had a good work ethic and was very cool. Delighted he had a long and fulfilled life. Rest in peace, Danny. From John in Sligo Ireland.
