Passed away peacefully with his family by his side at the Parkview Nursing Home on March 8, 2012. Survived by his beloved wife of over 50 years, Lorraine. Dearly loved father of Anne (Dan), Mark, and Grant. Loving grandfather of Johnathon, Ngaire, James, and Benjamin. Survived by his sister Virginia (Norm), and his brothers Rick (Marion) and Bob. He will also be missed by his family in New Zealand and Australia. Bill had been a Major with the Canadian Armed Forces Militia, and was a retired adjuster from the Underwriters Adjustment Bureau. Following his retirement, he was the proud owner of Taylor’s Wine and Brew. Special thanks to Dr. Oded Klinghoffer and the amazing staff at Parkview Nursing Home for their care and support. Cremation has taken place. A memorial service will be held at Christ Church, 92 HWY 8, Flamborough on Thursday, March 15th at 11am.
