Albert Al"" F. Rowe

Albert ""Al"" F. Rowe, 74, of East Hartford, loving husband of Linda A. (Buzzell) Rowe, peacefully passed away with his family by his side on Saturday, February 7, 2015 at Hartford Hospital. Born in Manchester on March 21, 1940, a son of the late Peter and Nancy (Galasso) Rowe, he had resided in East Hartford for the past 37 years. He was a proud veteran of the U.S. Air Force during the Vietnam Era. Prior to his retirement in 2005, Al was employed for many years by McKesson Pharmaceutical Warehouse in Rocky Hill. He was an avid golfer and loyal fan of the Boston Red Sox and UCONN Women's basketball teams. Al also loved traveling, especially taking a couple Cruises annually. Besides his beloved wife Linda of 37 years, Al is survived by a son, Alan W. Rowe of East Hartford; his mother-in-law, Hilda M. (Wisnauckas) Buzzell of East Hartford; several former co-workers and dear friends. Funeral service will be Friday (February 13th) at 9 am from the D'Esopo-East Hartford Memorial Chapel, 30 Carter Street, East Hartford with a Mass of Christian Burial celebrated at 10 am at St. Isaac Jogues Church, One Community Street, East Hartford. Burial with military honors will be at Veteran's Memorial Field #2-Silver Lane Cemetery, East Hartford. Relatives and friends may call at the funeral home chapel on Thursday (February 12th) from 4-7 pm.
