Alison “Ali” Marie Gilman, 48, lifelong resident of Stafford Springs, loving and devoted wife to Ryan H. Gilman for 21 years, passed away Tuesday, May 11, 2021. Born July 18, 1972 and raised in Stafford Springs, one of two children to Steven J. Saretsky, in Merritt Island, FL and Tina (Gallo) DeCarli, in Anthem, AZ.
Alison was a graduate of Stafford Springs High School. She was employed for several years at Opportunity Works CT (OWC) as a donation specialist and then moved on to the United States Postal Service as a Postmaster of Staffordville, CT.
A loving and caring person who would assist anyone in need. She enjoyed her time spent with her family who she loved unconditionally.
Along with her husband Ryan and her parents Steven with his wife Christine and Tina with her husband Gene, Ali will be deeply missed and forever remembered by her adored children, son and daughter-in-law, Andrew D. and Amanda Gilman, in Apopka, FL; daughter Ryleigh K. Gilman, at home in Stafford Springs; a brother Steven Saretsky in Phoenix, AZ; and many dear friends.
Friends and relatives may pay their respects to the family at a “walk through” visitation, Friday, May 14, 2021 from 3-6pm at the D’Esopo East Hartford Memorial Chapel, 30 Carter St. East Hartford. A Celebration of Ali’s life will be held Saturday, May 15, 2021 at 10:30am in the funeral home, attendees may arrive at 10am. Interment will follow in Silver Lane Cemetery, East Hartford.
