Ann (Bellone) LaTorre

Ann (Bellone) LaTorre, 84, of East Hartford, loving wife of 44 years of the late Daniel ""Butch"" LaTorre, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, February 10, 2016 to join her husband ""Butch"" in Heaven. Born in Hartford on June 17, 1931, a daughter of the late John and Jennie (Chiesa) Bellone, she had been a resident of East Hartford since 1956. Ann was a graduate of Hartford Public High School, Class of 1949 and was a secretary and bookkeeper during her working career. A devout Catholic, she was a longtime communicant of St. Christopher Church, East Hartford. Ann was a great cook, avid gardener and a talented craftswoman. Most of all, she was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother who was a proud ""Noni"" to her adored grandchildren. Ann is survived by three sons, Daniel P. LaTorre and his wife, Dayna, of Lander, WY, Michael ""Rock"" LaTorre and his wife, Brenda, of Manchester, Richard ""Rick"" LaTorre and his wife, Jodi, of East Hartford; six cherished grandchildren, Rachel, Megan, Kyle, Gianna, Alyssa, and Gabrielle LaTorre. She also leaves a sister, Eleanor Tornaquindici of Farmington and formerly of West Hartford; a special niece, Joanne LaTorre of Manchester; several nieces, nephews, and dear friends. Besides her beloved husband and parents she was predeceased by a sister, Ninfa Laiuppa of Bloomfield. Funeral service will be Tuesday (February 16, 2016) at 9 am from the D'Esopo-East Hartford Memorial Chapel, 30 Carter Street, East Hartford with a Mass of Christian Burial celebrated at 10 am at St. Christopher Church, 538 Brewer Street, East Hartford. Burial will follow at Mount Saint Benedict Cemetery, (Section R), Bloomfield. Relatives and friends may call at the funeral home chapel on Monday (February 15, 2016) from 4-7 pm.
