Beverly "Bev" Sawyer, 89 of East Hartford beloved wife for 68 years to the late Larry Sawyer, peacefully entered into eternal rest on October 5, 2026 at her home with her daughters by her side. Born in Hartford on July 17,1937 she was the daughter of the late Robert and Doris (Keevers) Harmon. She had been a resident of East Hartford for 68 years. Bev enjoyed spending time at the beach with family, trips to the casino, playing cards with her sisters and quality time with her grandchildren.
A loving mother, grandmother, great grandmother "GG" she will be forever missed by her three daughters; Lynne Murray and partner Stephen of Clinton, MA; Rhonda Sawyer of East Hartford, Lori Genovesi of East Hartford. Six special grandchildren; Jaime McLinskey and her husband Matt, Jennifer Vallera, Kimberly Brockett and her husband Chris, Ryan DiNardo, Adam Murray, Thomas Murray.
She will be lovingly remembered by her nine great grandchildren; Anabella,
McKenzie, Jaxon, Harper, Austin, Mila, Teagan, Dallas, Leai, including one precious great grandchild who is yet to be born and was already so deeply loved.
She was also survived by her brother Robert Harmon, two sisters; Mimi Plucker, Shirley Hall. In addition to her husband and parents, Beverly was predeceased by her sister Jean Franklin and son in law John Genovesi.
Calling hours Friday October 23, 2026 for 10:00 -11:30am concluding with a Chapel Prayer Service at 11:30 at D'Esopo East Hartford Memorial Chapel, 30 Carter Street East Hartford.
