The news just reached me about Brendon’s passing and I want to extend my sincerest condolences to his loved ones and family. He and I shared many great memories together and I’ll always be grateful for the time we shared. He will forever be missed.

I regret not making more of an effort after high school to keep in contact. You were my right hand man in school. Everywhere you were, I was & vice versa. I’ll give anything to have one more night of playing Xbox with you or asking our moms if you can spend the night at my house. You were a kind & loving soul that rarely ever got upset. We just spoke a few days ago and shared some of our pain together, you never really know the pain some people go through, even if you've experienced it, because it feels so different for everybody. Brendon was always a caring and wonderful person when I knew him in high school. Was my lab partner, badminton buddy and we got into the general teenage shenanigans together (especially in my ‘95 minivan, aka “the party mobile”). He always had something positive or funny to say and made high school better for everyone around him, myself included. I was blessed to have called him a friend and he will forever be missed. My condolences go out to his family, especially his parents, and I remember him being especially close with his sister. May his memory live on forever. To quote Winnie the Pooh, “how lucky am I to have something that makes saying goodbye so hard.” I will miss singing ridiculous songs at him in health class and sitting next to him in art, making what we thought were masterpieces. Thank you Brendon for calling me a friend, even if it was only high school. 💜
