Bruce Milone

Bruce Milone, 68, of East Hartford, loving husband of 31 years of Ellen (Arabas) Milone, passed away on Sunday, November 8, 2015. Prior to his retirement, Bruce was employed for over 30 years by Pratt & Whitney Aircraft, East Hartford as a Material Test Engineer. A sports enthusiast, Bruce was an avid fan of the Boston Red Sox, Cleveland Browns, and UCONN Huskies.

Along with his wife Ellen, Bruce is survived by a daughter, Denise Vitti and her husband, Robert; a son, Robert Milone; his mother, Carolyn (Boyington) Milone; two brothers, David Milone, and Robert Milone and his wife, Susan; three grandchildren; six nephews who were very special to him - David, Brian, Jimmy, John, Stuart, and Evan; and several beloved members of his extended family. Bruce was predeceased by his father, Doviglio Milone, and a sister-in-law, Margaret Milone.

Funeral service will be Friday (November 13, 2015) at 11 am at the D’Esopo-East Hartford Memorial Chapel, 30 Carter Street, East Hartford. Burial will be at Silver Lane Cemetery, (Section AA), East Hartford. Relatives and friends may call at the funeral home chapel on Friday morning from 9-11 am. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Bruce’s name may be made to the Boys Club of Pittsfield, MA, 16 Melville Street, Pittsfield, MA 01201.
