Bryce J. Dumond, 38, of East Hartford, passed away unexpectedly at his home on Friday, December 24, 2021. Born in Hartford on August 12, 1983 he had been a lifelong resident of East Hartford. Bryce was a graduate of East Catholic High School in Manchester, class of 2001 and Roger Williams University in Bristol, RI. In 2020, he earned his Master’s Degree in Business Administration from the University of Connecticut. A talented baseball player, Bryce was a standout on and off the field both in high school and college. He was an avid sports fan, especially of the New York Yankees, New York Jets, and UConn football and basketball. Most of all, Bryce cherished spending time with his brother and friends.
Bryce is survived by his father, Mark S. Dumond and his wife, Bonita, of Concord, NH; his brother, Jake K. Dumond and his fiancée, Bridget Onthank, of East Hartford; his half-sister, Alyssa Dumond of Concord, NH; several aunts, uncles, cousins, and special friends. He was predeceased by his mother, Nancy (Browne) Dumond.
A memorial service celebrating Bryce’s life will be Saturday afternoon (January 8, 2022) at 1 pm at the D’Esopo East Hartford Memorial Chapel, 30 Carter Street, East Hartford. Burial will be private and at the convenience of the family. Relatives and friends may call at the funeral home chapel on Saturday (January 8th) from 11 am to 1 pm. Facemasks are required for everyone who attends. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Bryce’s name may be made to the Bryce J.
