

Carmen A. Arroyo-Rivera, 67, of East Hartford, passed away peacefully on Sunday (January 18, 2015). Born in Puerto Rico on March 9, 1947, she was the daughter of the late Victor M. Arroyo and Luz Delia Rivera. Carmen worked as an executive secretary for Firmenich Inc. Chem Fleur Division. More than anything, however, she cherished her time with her family. A loving and devoted mother and grandmother, she will be dearly missed by her three children, Eloy Feliciano and his wife Evelyn of Virginia Beach, VA, Connie Feliciano and her husband Julio Diaz of Hartford and Tatiana Feliciano of Bridgeport and her five adored grandchildren, Lilandra Martinez, Brianna Vega, Yesenia Vega, Inysx Sanders and Alana Montalvo. She is also survived by her great-aunt Aida Rivera-Rivera and her cousins, Jaime Vazquez and his wife Aida Aponte Rivera de Vazquez, William Aponte, Irma Rivera and Migdalia Rivera.
Calling hours will be Thursday (January 22) from 4-7 p.m. concluding with a funeral service at 7 p.m. at the D’Esopo-East Hartford Memorial Chapel, 30 Carter St., East Hartford.
