Carmen “Rosa” Rodriguez, 77, of Hartford, passed away surrounded by her loving family on July 4, 2025. She was born on January 8, 1948 in Caguas, Puerto Rico. In her free time, she enjoyed cooking, listening to music, and spending time with family. Rosa was a caring and devoted mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother.
Rosa is survived by her loving twelve children; Ezequiel, Hector, Linda, Pete, Neyda, Rosalea, Madeleni, Sandra, and Sonia. Fourteen grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. She is predeceased by her son Julio Roldan.
A funeral service for Rosa will be held on Friday, July 18, 2025 at 12 pm at the D’Esopo East Hartford Memorial Chapel, 30 Carter Street, East Hartford. Rosa’s family will receive relatives and friends prior to the service from 10 am – 12 pm. Burial will follow in Mount Saint Benedict Cemetery, Bloomfield.
