Carol W. Capoldo

Caroline “Carol” (Miceli) Westover Capoldo, 89, of Glastonbury, unexpectedly passed away on Monday, October 27, 2025 at St. Francis Hospital in Hartford. Born in Greenburgh, New York on January 2, 1936, she was a daughter of the late Alfonzo and Anna (Lucido) Miceli. Carol spent many years in East Hartford before moving to reside in Fort Pierce, Florida for over 30 years with several of her siblings. She returned to Glastonbury six years ago to be closer to her two surviving sisters.

Prior to her retirement, Carol was employed for several years as a Customer Service Representative at Fotomat in Prestige Park, East Hartford. She was an avid reader and enjoyed playing cards with her sisters and close friends. Most of all, Carol was a beloved sister and aunt, who cherished each moment spent with her family.

Carol is survived by two loving sisters, Rose Pappagallo of East Hartford and Dolores Leccese of Manchester; many nieces, nephews, grandnieces, grandnephews, cousins, and friends. Along with her parents, Carol was predeceased by seven siblings.

Private funeral service and burial at St. Mary’s Cemetery in East Hartford will be held at the convenience of the family. There are no calling hours.
