

Carol Damaschi-Bolduc, 75, of East Hartford, loving wife of 30 years of the late Albert G. Bolduc, peacefully entered into eternal life with her family by her side on Sunday, November 23, 2025 at Hartford Hospital. Born in Hartford on December 22, 1949, a daughter of the late Robert J. Sr. and Mary (Cassello) Damaschi, she had been a lifelong resident of East Hartford. Carol was a graduate of East Hartford High School, class of 1967 and went on to Central Connecticut State University in New Britain where she earned both her bachelor’s degree and master’s degree in education.
Prior to her retirement, Carol was employed by the town of East Hartford Board of Education for 43 years as a teacher. She taught her students at George E. Slye School, Dr. Thomas S. O’Connell School, Governor William Pitkin School, and Joseph O. Goodwin School. Carol liked all her students! Carol was an avid reader and loved dogs. She loved her retail therapy and babysitting her young grandnieces and grandnephews. Most of all, Carol was a devoted wife, daughter, sister, and aunt who cherished every moment spent with her family.
Along with her beloved husband and parents, Carol was predeceased by a brother, Robert J. Damaschi, Jr. of Manchester.
Carol is survived by her sister, Lynne Damaschi-Gelineau and her husband Brett of East Hartford; two brothers, David P. Damaschi, Sr. and his wife Eva-Jane of Ashford, and Mark J. Damaschi, Sr. and his wife Maureen of East Hartford. She also leaves her sister-in-law, Victoria “Vicki” Damaschi of Manchester; her special nieces and nephews, Craig M. Damaschi and his wife Rande of Wethersfield, David P. Damaschi, Jr. and his wife Morgan of Manchester, Anthony R. Damaschi of Ashford, Nicole Damaschi of Boston, MA, Brett Gelineau and his wife Audrey of Ellington, Jacqueline Damaschi of East Hartford, Mark J. Damaschi, Jr. of Gainesville, FL; seven great-nieces and great-nephews, Hayden, Sienna, Jayla, Greyson, Ryder, Andrew, and Grant; her pet dog, Asher; several cousins, former students, and dear friends.
Funeral service celebrating Carol’s life will be Wednesday (December 3, 2025) at 11 am at the D’Esopo East Hartford Memorial Chapel, 30 Carter Street, East Hartford. Burial will follow at Silver Lane Cemetery, (Section AA), East Hartford. Her family will receive relatives and friends at the funeral home chapel on Wednesday morning from 10 – 11 am.
