We met Dennis at Riverside. Ken & I (MaryBeth) are Eucharistic Ministers at our church St. Mary's, the North American Martyrs Parish. He was always so kind. Everyone knew him. He was a very prayerful person. When he was unable to make mass, we would give him communion and a church bulletin. He touched our hearts. He was such a great guy. He was very caring. I remember one of the last times I saw him was on August 15 (Holy Day) at St. Paul's church. I was sitting near him in the same row.
Dennis will be missed. Yes, he has earned his salvation and peace in Heaven.

I met Dennis 23 years ago when I started at Riverside. He would always come hang out at the front desk and share stories and laughs. Back then he was in a regular wheelchair and he loved Charlies so every now and then I would wheel him over there for a dinner. As time went on and he got his power chair we would go to Olive Garden or Angelino's in Vernon. Dennis always had the kindest heart, always caring, and truly making a impact on me as well as all the residents and staff . He was the first to send out birthday cards to all, sympathy cards and just plain thank you cards. Dennis simply just was truly a kind sole with one of the biggest hearts I know. I will miss Dennis soooo much ;( but I am happy that he has the freedom without the wheelchair now. Fly high and watch over us Dennis! you truly touched my life as well as hundreds of others! God speed my friend =)

I met Dennis at church, over 5 years ago. He showed me kindness and compassion, being new to the faith, which blossomed into an awesome friendship spanning the years. Dennis and I had a great visit 2 weeks ago. I started reading Dale Carnegie's How To Win Friends And Influence People, to hopefully boost sales in my new job. I tend to talk a lot about myself so to get out of myself, like the book says, I came up with a question for Dennis. I said, "Dennis, who are you?" He laughed. It was a hard one to answer and I was absolutely thrilled with his response. He said, "I just am."

Love you so much Dennis!!!!!

I will forever treasure the friendship that Dennis and I shared. When my godmother, Joszine, who was also a resident at Riverside, introduced me to Dennis some years ago, I immediately knew that he was a very special person. His warmth and caring led to our continued communication and visits through the years, long after my dear godmother passed away. He was a light in the lives of all who knew him and demonstrated the true meaning of love and friendship. We have lost our earthly angel but I know he’s still smiling on us. I will miss him so. My sincere condolences to the family and to all who mourn his loss.

I met Dennis at Riverside. I volunteered in the gift shop, me and Dennis would hold on Conversation while I would help him drink his V-8 until it was gone. Dennis has the biggest Heart I know. Given up his time to go to Save-a- lot for Bananas and Creamer. He just loved everyone. I'm Blessed to have been his Friend! All I know is they better have V-8 up in heaven cuz u are the meaning of a true Angel. U so Deserve those Wings. Until We meet Again. 😘😥😭😇👼🙏🐦
