

Diane Navarro Cartier, 68, of East Hartford, Connecticut, passed away peacefully on February 17, 2026, following a long and courageous journey with illness. Born on August 27, 1957, in Hartford, Connecticut, she was the beloved daughter of the late Anthony and Freda Navarro of Wethersfield, Connecticut.
Diane was predeceased by her husband, Scott Cartier; her sister, Roseanne Navarro Garrity; and niece, Nicki Cartier. She leaves behind a loving family who will cherish her memory: her children, Lea and Andre Santiago; her adored grandchildren, Angelina, Leilani, Felix, and Elijah; and her great-grandson, La’Khi. She is also survived by her sister and brother-in-law, Joanne and Sal Malignaggi; her nephew, Michael Malignaggi, his partner Sonya and daughter Giulianna; her nephew, Anthony Garrity, and his children, Madison and Anthony Garrity Jr.; her in-laws, Nancy and Jim Wilson; her brother and sister-in-law, Randy and Amy Cartier; and her niece, Lindsey Cartier; along with many extended family members and dear friends who will miss her deeply.
Diane dedicated her career as an accounts payable supervisor in the heating and oil industry, earning the respect of colleagues through her diligence and strong work ethic. Beyond her professional life, she was the heart of her family, a devoted matriarch who gave selflessly and loved unconditionally. She found her greatest happiness in caring for her children and grandchildren and in knowing that those she loved were safe, supported, and well provided for.
