

Doris (Collazo) Rodriguez, 80, of East Hartford, beloved wife of the late Isidro Rosado, Sr., passed away on Thursday, June 18, 2015 at Hartford Hospital. Born in Caguas, Puerto Rico on December 21, 1934, a daughter of the late Thomas and Guillermina Collazo, she had resided most of her life in the Greater Hartford area. Doris was a proud Homemaker who was a devoted mother and grandmother. Doris is survived by four sons, Peter Rodriguez and his wife, Katherine, of Chesapeake, VA, Edwin Rodriguez of Hartford, Isidro Rosado, Jr. of Fort Lauderdale, FL, David Rosado and his wife, Denise, of Glastonbury’ two daughters, Evelyn Pedraza and her husband, Miguel, of New London, Brenda Rivera of Hartford; a brother, Tomas Rivera and his wife, Georgina, of Orlando, FL; 17 cherished grandchildren; nine adored great-grandchildren; several nieces, nephews, and dear friends. Besides her husband and parents, she was predeceased by two sons and one daughter.
Funeral service will be Tuesday (June 23rd) with a Mass of Christian Burial celebrated at 10 a.m. at St. Rose Church, 33 Church Street, East Hartford. Everyone is asked to go directly to the church on Tuesday morning. Burial will follow at Mount Saint Benedict Cemetery, Bloomfield.
