Elizabeth “Beth” C. Canny, 55 of Newington, loving daughter, sister, aunt, great aunt, and friend. Born in Hartford, January 25, 1970, one of six daughters to the late John F. Canny and Mary F. Welch. Beth was also predeceased by her loving stepfather, Earl E. Welch. She was raised in East Hartford, graduating from East Hartford High School, Class of 1988.
For the last eighteen years, Beth was employed at American Institute, attaining the position of Program Director of Medical Coding and Billing, in which she took immense pride in teaching and having her students succeed in their respective fields. Most important to Beth was spending time with her family, which she cherished deeply.
Beth will be deeply missed and forever remembered by her five sisters, Patricia A. Canny, Eileen Canny, Sheila Ramos, Mary Canny, and Linda Cavanaugh; five nieces and nephews, Christopher Ramos, Scott Ramos, Courtney Martin (Sean), Emily Cavanaugh, Jac Cavanaugh; three great nieces, Lucy Ramos, Charlotte Ramos, and Emerson Martin; as well as many cousins, both here in the U.S. and the UK.
To honor Beth’s wishes, all services will be private and at the convenience of the family.
