He was dedicated to its mission of suicide prevention and promoting mental health for all young adults, so other families would not have to suffer a loss of a loved one, like he and his family experienced with the death of his son Jordan.
A talented cook, Ernie loved to cook gourmet meals for his family and friends to enjoy. He also liked traveling, especially to Italy and the Bahamas. He was an avid fan of the New York Jets and UConn men’s basketball teams, and most recently of the Boston Celtics. He also enjoyed watching movies on all streaming channels listening with his loud full surround sound.
Most of all, family was the most important thing to Ernie. He was a very kind generous man who would always be willing to help others in need. He had an infectious personality which made it easy for him to make friends wherever he went.
