Geraldine Knight (Moore)

Geraldine (Moore) Knight, 79, of Hartford, wife of the late Milton Samuel Knight, Sr. peacefully passed away on Friday (December 24, 2010). Born in Holopaw, FL, she was the daughter of the late Ike and Carrie (James) Moore. Geraldine is survived by her eight children, Alvin Knight, Jr. and his wife Katherine, David Knight and significant other Sherelle, Milton Knight and his wife Tonya, Edlynn Knight- Boyce and her husband Vincent, Mary Davenport and her husband David, Collette Thicklin and her husband Lee, Christine Thompson and her husband Alex and Sylvia Robinson. She also leaves 33 Grandchildren and 3 Great Grandchildren. Besides her husband she was also predeceased by her sons, Willie B. Moore and Paul Knight; and a brother and a sister. Geraldine's family would like to thank the Staff at Hughes Health and Rehabilitation Center in West Hartford for the exceptional care and support that they gave Geraldine and her family. A Funeral Service will be held at the D'Esopo East Hartford Memorial Chapel, 30 Carter Street East Hartford, on Friday (January 7, 2011) at 11 a.m. Burial will follow in Mt.
