Hector Manuel Medina

Hector Manuel Medina, 47, of Manchester, passed away unexpectedly on Friday, July 18th. Hector was born in Hartford on June 15, 1978, and was the son of the late Hector Medina and Darlene (Teodorczyk) Rivera and step-father Carlos Rivera who was in his life for 31 years. A loving and devoted father, Hector is survived by his children; Xaven, Rielle, Analise, Ayanna, and granddaughter Cenai, who were the light of his life. In addition, he is survived by his brother Joseph, sister Jennifer, nephew Cylas, his sister Linnette Sanchez and her two sons, along with many extended family members and friends. Hector was a long-time employee of Bogner Meats in Manchester/Vernon. A Giants superfan and grill master, Hector will be deeply missed by all who knew him.

Relatives and friends may call on Monday, July 28th from 4 to 7 pm at the D’Esopo East Hartford Memorial Chapel, 30 Carter St., East Hartford. A memorial service for Hector will be held at 10:00 am on Tuesday, July 29th at the D’Esopo East Hartford Funeral Chapel. Burial will follow at Cedar Hill Cemetery, Hartford.
