Ingrid H. (Gilch) Breslin, 86, of East Hartford, entered into eternal peace on Thursday (February 23, 2012) with her loving family by her side. She was born in Eibach, Germany on June 12, 1925, the daughter of the late George and Francesca (Warner) Gilch. Ingrid was employed by Southern New England Telephone Company for 20 years as an operator. She is survived by her son John J. Breslin and his significant other Gay Ewing of East Hartford, her daughter Sylvia Orzech and her husband Robert of East Hartford, her adored grandchildren Jessica Orzech, Stacy Lombardo, Candice Breslin, Sean Breslin, and Kelly Breslin; and her loving great grandchildren, Karma Schumack, Derek Segarra, Isabella Lombardo, and Georgia Lombardo. A committal service will be held on Tuesday (February 28, 2012) at 1p.m. in Silver Lane Cemetery, East Hartford. The D’Esopo East Hartford Memorial Chapel has been entrusted with the arrangements.
