James E. Deschene, 77, unexpectedly passed away in the comfort of his home on Tuesday, September 9, 2025. Born in Lewiston, Maine, on October 16, 1947, James was one of many children of the late Mack and Cecile (Thibodeau) Deschene.
A longtime resident of East Hartford, James lived there on and off throughout his life. He was a simple man with a kind heart, known and loved by all who knew him.
James is survived by a few siblings, along with several nieces, nephews, and dear friends who will miss him greatly.
A graveside service will be held at Silver Lane Cemetery, 1312 Silver Lane, East Hartford, CT on Friday, September 19 at 11:00 a.m. Everyone is asked to meet directly at the gravesite.
