James Jimmy Shepley

James “Jimmy” T. Shepley, 19, of East Hartford, entered into eternal life unexpectedly on Thursday, February 5, 2015. Born in Hartford on August 1, 1995, a loving son of Jane (Shuckerow) and Steven R. Shepley, he had been a life-long resident of East Hartford. Jimmy was a 2009 graduate of St. Christopher School, East Hartford and East Hartford High School, Class of 2013. He was presently attending Manchester Community College pursuing his Associate Degree while being a dedicated employee at Shop Rite Grocery Store, Main Street, East Hartford. Jimmy had a passion for the outdoors and was an avid fisherman, who especially looked forward to summer vacations with his family at Lake Winnipesauke, NH.

Along with his beloved parents, Steve and Jane, of East Hartford, Jimmy is survived by his brother, Thomas J. Shepley of East Hartford; paternal grandparents, James and Pauline (Gagne) Shepley of Enfield; maternal grandmother, Margaret “Peg” (Conroy) Shuckerow of East Harford; four dear aunts, Peggy Paradis and her husband, Ronald, of East Hartford, Maureen Chiapponi and her husband, Ray, of East Hartford, Kathy Leblanc and her husband, John, of South Windsor, Carol Wright of Enfield; five special cousins, Kara, Kevin, Shannon, Timothy, Ethan; two great-cousins, Evan and Katherine; many neighbors and friends.

Funeral service will be Wednesday (February 11th) with a Mass of Christian Burial celebrated at 10 am at St. Christopher Church, 538 Brewer Street, East Hartford. (Everyone is asked to please go directly to the church on Wednesday morning). Burial will follow at Silver Lane Cemetery, East Hartford. Relatives and friends may call at the D’ESOPO-East Hartford Memorial Chapel, 30 Carter Street, East Hartford on Tuesday (February 10th) from 4-8 pm.
