Jo Ann (Clemons) Sitaras, 65, of East Hartford, passed away on Wednesday, February 26, 2020. She was the widow of John Sitaras and was born in Natchitoches, Louisiana on August 28, 1954. She will be remembered for throwing great birthday parties for her family and as “The Team Mom” at her children’s sporting events. She loved the beach, camping and traveling whenever possible, especially to Europe.
Jo Ann is survived by five children, Byron, Zachariah, Kristopher, Alexandra and Tamara; seven grandchildren, Jacinda, John, Arianna, Niko, Bre’ahna, Bubba and Brittany and a sister-in-law, Vassilia as well as several siblings, nieces, nephews, cousins and extended family members. Besides her husband, she was predeceased by her sister Sarah and her brother, Timothy.
The family will privately celebrate Jo Ann’s life at a later date. Services have been entrusted to the D’Esopo East Hartford Memorial Chapel, 30 Carter St., East Hartford, CT.
