Prior to his retirement in 2011, Jon was a 30-year veteran of the East Hartford Police Department. Most of all, Jon was a devoted husband, father, and grandfather who cherished his time with his daughters, sons-in-law, and grandchildren.
In addition to his beloved wife Caren, Jon is survived by two special daughters, Jennifer Palumbo and her husband Stephen of Tolland, and Lauren Lappen and her husband Matthew of Tolland; and two adored grandchildren, Angelo Palumbo and Giana Palumbo both of Tolland.
