Jose Luis Cruz, 53, of Hartford, passed away Wednesday, May 25, 2016 at Hartford Hospital. Born in Puerto Rico, Jose is survived by his loving children, Jose Cruz Jr., Luis Cruz, Sammy Cruz, Doris Valentin, Shasterin Valentin and Shayralisse Cruz. Jose also leaves behind his sisters, Delia Cruz and Rosa Nadal. Jose was predeceased by his wife, Doris Ferrer-Cruz and his brother, Antonio Cruz.
The family will receive friends and relatives on Wednesday (June 1) from 10-11 a.m. at the D’Esopo East Hartford Memorial Chapel, 30 Carter St., East Hartford, concluding with a service at 11:00 a.m. Burial will follow at Silver Lane Cemetery, East Hartford.
