Judith Judi"" L. Burke

Judith “Judi” L. Burke, 78, of East Hartford, passed away peacefully on Sunday, April 1, 2018. Born in Hartford on November 18, 1939, she was the daughter of the late Edward and Doris (Graham) Burke. Judith worked for many years in customer service for AETNA and Travelers Insurance Company. Judi enjoyed watching the Huskies basketball and the Red Sox. A loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, she will be forever missed by her three children, Mickey Grabner and Amy of Pittsburgh, PA and Lance Grabner of East Hartford and Shelley Grabner and her significant other Keith of Waverly, NY; five adored grandchildren, Kiera, Kirsten, Christian, Allena, Kassidy and two cherished great-grandsons Anthony and Julian. She was predeceased by her brother, Arthur Burke. A special thanks to Cee Cee from Riverside Rehabilitation for her compassion and care during her stay.

Funeral services will be Thursday (April 5) at 11 a.m. at the D’Esopo-East Hartford Memorial Chapel, 30 Carter St., East Hartford. Burial will follow in Cedar Hill Cemetery, Hartford.
