Kyle Robert “Little Red” Malloy, 42, of Manchester, passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, August 16, 2026, at Hartford Hospital from injuries sustained in an accident. Born In Rockville on October 26, 1983, he had been a resident of the South Windsor/Manchester area for most of his life. He was a graduate of South Windsor High School, class of 2002.
Kyle was a talented construction Laborer with Local #230 of Hartford for many years. He was an avid gardener of vegetables and flowers and had a “green thumb” caring for indoor plants. Kyle loved to cook, listen to live music, and was a big fan of all powered motor sports. Most of all, Kyle was a social man who liked talking with his friends and anyone he would meet. Kyle was predeceased by his mother, Debra (Beauchamp) Malloy of South Windsor.
Kyle is survived by his father, Joseph T. Malloy, Jr. and his wife, Jennifer (Baylock) Malloy of Hebron; a step-grandfather, Andrew “Andy” Baylock of Mansfield Center; longtime dear friends, the Lee family of South Windsor who were like a second family that always looked out for Kyle and helped him when needed; his two cats who were his best friends, Turdle and Na-Na; several aunts, uncles, cousins, co-workers, and friends.
To celebrate Kyle’s life, his family will receive relatives and friends on Thursday (August 27th) from 5 – 7 pm at the D’Esopo East Hartford Memorial Chapel, 30 Carter Street, East Hartford. All attendees are asked to please wear casual clothing. In honor of Kyle’s love for animals, memorial contributions in Kyle’s name may be made to Protectors of Animals, 144 Main Street, Suite O, East Hartford, CT 06118. To paraphrase Kyle, he lived a “tiger style” life! For on-line expressions of sympathy to the family, please visit www.desopoeh.com
