Laura M. (Stowell) Gionfriddo, 84, of East Hartford, loving wife of the late Joseph J. Gionfriddo, passed away on Friday, November 21, 2008 at the Riverside Health Care & Rehabilitation Center, East Hartford. Born in Revere, MA on June 23, 1924, a daughter of the late William and Mary Stowell, she had resided in Hartford and East Hartford for many years. Laura is survived by two sons, Thomas L. Pearson, Sr. and his wife, Barbara, of East Hartford with whom she made her home, Kenneth P. Pearson and his wife, Shirley, in Arkansas; four grandchildren, Thomas Pearson, Jr. and Heather Pearson both of East Hartford, Kenneth Pearson and Paul Pearson both of Wallingford; six great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be Tuesday (November 25th) at 10:30 AM at the D?ESOPO-East Hartford Memorial Chapel, 30 Carter Street, East Hartford. Burial will be at Cedar Hill Cemetery, (Section #29), Hartford. Relatives and friends may call at the funeral home chapel on Tuesday morning from 9:30 ?10:30 AM.
