

Linda Ann (Doucette) Campise, 71, of East Hartford, loving wife of 28 years of the late Robert “Bob” Campise, passed away peacefully at her home on Tuesday, July 10, 2018 with her caring family by her side. Born in Hartford on October 31, 1946, a daughter of the late Louis Sr. and Isabel (Bishop) Doucette, she had resided in East Hartford for most of her life. Prior to her retirement, Linda was employed for many years by the town of East Hartford-Board of Education. Linda was proud of her home and enjoyed working outside planting, gardening, and decorating her home. An animal lover, hard worker, and kind hearted woman, Linda was especially a loving mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother receiving much joy in spending time with all of her family.
Linda will be forever missed by her children, Lisa Doucette of East Hartford, and Todd K. Doucette of Longmont, CO; her two step-sons, Jack Campise of Ellington, Robert Campise and his wife, Donna, of South Glastonbury; seven adored grandchildren, Michael Lenares, Joseph Lenares and his wife Michelle, Jesse Porter, Tyler Campise, Matthew Campise, Jacky Campise, Spencer Campise; and two cherished great-grandchildren, Evelina and Lucille Porter. She also leaves one brother, Louis Doucette, Jr. and his wife, Connie, of South Windsor; four sisters, Yvette DelGuidice of East Hartford, Geraldine Mulroy of South Windsor, Marjorie Lavoie of East Hartford, Diane Michaud and her husband, Philip, of Manchester; a dear friend, Carmen; as well as many nieces, nephews, extended family members and friends. In addition to her beloved husband and parents, Linda was predeceased by her brother, Robert Doucette; and three sisters, Dorothy Hersom, Shirley Beaulieu and Theresa LaBreck.
A private funeral service and burial will be private and at the convenience of the family. There are no calling hours. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Linda’s memory may be made to the American Cancer Society, 825 Brook St., I-91 Tech Ctr., Rocky Hill, CT 06067. Linda’s family would like to extend their sincere gratitude and appreciation to Linda’s devoted CNA, Marg, for her professionalism, care, love, and compassion given to Linda and her entire family. The D’Esopo-East Hartford Memorial Chapel, 30 Carter Street, East Hartford has been entrusted with the care of the funeral arrangements.
