Linda Ann Ladone

Linda Ann Ladone, age 60, of Manchester passed away peacefully on Monday, Sept. 20, 2021, surrounded by the LOVE of her family. She was coping valiantly with an illness for about a year. She joins the late love of her life, Douglas Foley; and her mother and father to become one of God’s guardian angels in heaven.

Linda was born on July 1, 1961, to mother Lucille Ladone and father Donald Ladone. She leaves behind a son, Jordan Barry and his love, Monique Freitas; daughter Shannan Foley; and her four grandchildren, Alexandra Alvarado, Julian Alvarado, Jaydan Barry and Jonathan Barry. She leaves behind her two loving brothers, Joe Ladone of Vernon, Jeff Ladone and his beloved wife, Darlene Ladone of Somers; and her two beloved nephews, Kyle and Donald Ladone.

Linda was a lifelong Manchester resident. She was a graduate of Manchester High School and worked various jobs until she went on to work at the Journal Inquirer for over 13 years as a district manager. Linda was a devoted mother, daughter, sister, and most importantly a grandmother. Linda enjoyed decorating for the holidays, cooking, and was a big fan of NASCAR. Her sense of humor is something we can never duplicate and will dearly miss. She will forever live in our hearts.

There will be a service Friday, October 8, at 11 a.m. at St. Teresa of Calcutta Parish, St. Bridget Church, 80 Main St. Manchester.
