

Maria L. Camarco, 78, of South Windsor, loving wife of 53 years of Clyde Ogburn, peacefully passed away on Wednesday, July 23, 2025 at Hartford Hospital. Born in Orange, California on January 13, 1947, a daughter of the late Rido and Lois (Parrish) Camarco, she had been a resident of South Windsor for 40 years. Maria was a graduate of Bulkeley High School in Hartford, class of 1965.
Prior to her retirement, she was a Medical Claims Processor for over 25 years for the Teamsters Local 559 in South Windsor. Maria was a longtime fan of NASCAR and ice hockey. She was an avid reader who loved listening to music, watching television, and shopping, especially for jewelry. Most of all, Maria was a devoted wife, mother, and proud grandmother who cherished every moment spent with her three grandchildren.
In addition to her beloved husband, Maria is survived by her daughter-in-law, Debra Megquier of East Hartford; three adored grandchildren, Kacey Megquier Neil and her husband Austin Neil of Coventry, Alexander Megquier of Middletown, and Maryn Mae Megquier of East Hartford. She also leaves a special niece, Michele Camarco of Bar Harbor, Maine; two nephews, Jeffrey Camarco of Schwenksville, PA, Bobby Camarco of Newington; another niece, Molly Camarco of Wellington, FL; a cousin, Marian of Suffield; and several friends and former co-workers. Besides her parents, Marie was predeceased by her son, Scott Megquier
Funeral service will be Thursday (July 31st) at 11 am at the D’Esopo East Hartford Memorial Chapel, 30 Carter Street, East Hartford. Burial will follow at Silver Lane Cemetery, East Hartford.
