Colleen Mary Shea, 57, of Bloomfield, passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, (December 22, 2012) at St. Francis Hospital in Hartford. Born in Hartford on Oct. 20, 1955 she was a life-long resident of Bloomfield. She was a graduate of Bloomfield High School, Class of 1973 and Manchester Community College. Colleen was the only daughter of Teresa E. (Hopkins) Shea of Bloomfield, with whom she made her home, and the late Lawrence Colin Shea. She is survived by her two brothers, Barry J. Shea and his wife, Gina, of Tolland, and Colin P. Shea of East Hartford; her niece, Erica L. Shea and her fiancé, Gregory Peracchio, of Tolland; and several friends. Besides her father, Colleen was predeceased by a nephew, Justin M. Shea.
Private funeral services and burial will be held at the convenience of the family. There are no calling hours.
