

Mary A. (Campise) Zdrojowy, of East Hartford, entered into eternal life and has reunited with her husband on Wednesday, May 14, 2025. Born on August 14, 1948, she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Mary (Forte) Campise. Mary graduated from Northwest Catholic High School, class of 1966. She got married to the love of her life of 55 years, Michael Zdrojowy, and they settled down in East Hartford to raise a family. Mary spent her career raising her two children and then worked in the insurance industry holding various positions with The Hartford and Travelers.
A devout catholic, Mary was a long-time member of Our Lady of Peace Church, East Hartford before it closed and more recently, North American Martyrs Parish, East Hartford. In her free time, Mary enjoyed playing Bunco, and dinner at Anna’s with her friends. She looked forward to her annual Christmas shopping days with her daughter, along with taking trips to the casino with her husband. Mary also had a green thumb and loved taking care of her plants. Most of all, family was most important to her, she never missed an event or any opportunity to be with her family.
Mary is survived by her daughter Kimberly Seward and her husband David and their children Ashley Viera and her husband Matthew and Kyle Seward of East Hartford. Her son Keith Zdrojowy and his wife Joyanna and their children Graham, Corey, and Violet of Milford. Her sister Ann Gutkowski and her husband Dave of West Hartford. Along with her husband, she is predeceased by her two siblings Joseph Campise and Catherine Lankford.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Thursday, May 22, 2025 at 10 am at St. Mary’s Church of North American Martyrs Parish, 15 Maplewood Avenue, East Hartford. Burial will follow in Silver Lane Cemetery, East Hartford. Everyone is asked to please meet directly at the church. Mary’s family will receive relatives and friends on Wednesday, May 21, 2025 from 4 – 7 pm at the D’Esopo East Hartford Memorial Chapel, 30 Carter Street, East Hartford. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Mary’s name to Alzhemier’s Association, 200 Executive Blvd. S #4b, Southington, CT 06489.
