Melba Rosa (Marrero) Perez, 73, cherished mother, adoring grandmother, loyal sister and loving aunt passed away on Friday, (September 18, 2009) at the Riverside Health & Rehabilitation Center, East Hartford. Melba was born in Majagua, Cuba on May 29, 1936 and immigrated to the United States in 1973. Soon after, she became a United States citizen and was a long time resident of East Hartford. Friends and family may call at the D'Esopo/ East Hartford Memorial Chapel, 30 Carter, East Hartford, on Monday September 21, 4-6 p.m. A private Funeral Service and entombment will be held at the convenience of the family.
